Delete your MoveDefense account
Permanently delete the MoveDefense account tied to your email address and the associated server-saved driver data.
What gets deleted
- Account identity data such as email, username, account name, and login record.
- Server-saved driver logs, stops, GPS coordinates, mileage, odometer records, fuel records, notes, and PDF export activity tied to the account.
- Synced photos and receipts associated with the account where they are stored by MoveDefense.
MoveDefense cancels an active web subscription before deleting the account. A subscription purchased through Google Play or the App Store must be canceled separately in that store.
Some records may be retained when required for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, billing disputes, or backup integrity.
How requests are handled
- MoveDefense records the request and may verify that the requester controls the account email.
- After verification, account identity, synced driver logs, related app activity, and MoveDefense-stored photos/receipts are deleted or anonymized unless retention is required.
- MoveDefense sends completion confirmation to the account email. Most verified requests are completed within 30 days.
